The collaboration between Jim Parker and Fain Edwards lasted from 1984 - 1986, after which Parker bought out Edwards. He operated a lot of different companies - including Case Cutlery Co. - and was active in the knife business for decades until his passing. He had his own damascus steel manufactured in his plant here in the U.S. The knife blades are made from this damascus steel, liners are brass, bolsters are nickel silver and the back springs are stainless steel, handles are stag. The knife is new and unused, original edges on the blades. Comes with wooden box with spongy foam insert. Box does have a couple of scuffs. Previous (original) owner taped information about the knife to box lid from his original purchase. I tried to removed it with Un-Do, but it wouldn't come up easily and I didn't want to risk damaging it so I left it alone after that. The same owner who taped info to the lid also cut up the original certificate that came with the knife and left only the part that you see in the pictures. Beautiful older knife. See pictures. Stamped on main blade "PARKER - EDWARDS" over eagle image and "ALABAMA U.S.A." Measures 3-1/2" closed, 6-1/4" open, blade length 2-3/4". Contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks for looking, and good luck! Note: Payment required within 3 days of auction ends.
