This particular Model is the “Mink,’ and has an etch on the Clip Blade of a Mink with the word “Mink.”. Knife number stamped on reverse of Clip Blade Tang is 1978-4. Parker-Frost—Made by Schrade --Trapper Pocketknife, 2 Blade, Jigged Bone, 3 7/8” Closed Parker-Frost Trapper Pocketknife. This comes from a period when the Parker-Frost partnership contracted some Knife production to Schrade Cutlery. Thus, Made in the USA! This particular Model is the “Mink,’ and has an etch on the Clip Blade of a Mink with the word “Mink.” Knife number stamped on reverse of Clip Blade Tang is 1978-4. Appears to have never been used or carried. Length closed 3 7/8”; Clip Blade is 3 1/8”; Long Spey Blade is 3 1/8”. Rich dark brown Jigged Bone Handle Scales. Parker-Frost Eagle Shield on Front Handle Scale. Bolsters appear to be German Silver, Liners are Brass. Solid opening and closing snaps. Oiled and kept in ziplock bag since I bought it several years ago. This Pocketknife is very near perfect. No box. Knives are sharp, handle carefully. Keep out of reach of children.
