Published in 1972 by Dick Higgins' legendary Something Else Press, this book is a cornerstone of the Fluxus and concrete poetry movements. Mac Low used "systematic chance operations" to compose these poems, drawing from texts as varied as newspapers, scientific treatises, and Buddhist writings. The result is a work that challenges the very definition of authorship and meaning. "Mac Low's system is of a complexity that would give Fortuna herself delirium tremens." — John Gruen, The New Bohemia Includes the rare Publisher's "Sash" / Flap Text (See Photos) Condition Report This copy is in Very Good (VG) condition.
