Webster & Co., New York. (Webster was his cousin.)Sized 10x8 inches, bound in olive green decorated cloth, 575 pages, with hundreds of engravings by Dan Beard. With the "S" between the phrase The King on page 59. First edition, first printing, first state, with no damaged text on page 72. Lacking "Connecticut" on the cover, but present on title page. We must add that this copy is not perfect. The last page is a facsimile, the cloth binding shows general wear, some pages that were loose have some mild edgewear. Of course, better copies cost in the thousands. We see one that has been recased offered for $3500.
