They sponsored yearly knife shows and they made up 45 of these special knives for the 1996 Tar Heel Knife Club 20th Anniversary. This knife for auction is a 1996 issue Case Special Factory Order Tar Heel Knife Club 20th Anniversary Razor, 3 7/8" closed, featuring the great looking Genuine Stag handles and the nickel silver Case shield. T his Case Special Factory Order Razor was made for the North Carolina based club, the Tar Heel Cutlery Club. They sponsored yearly knife shows and they made up 45 of these special knives for the 1996 Tar Heel Knife Club 20th Anniversary. This Case SFO Tar Heel Razor is stamped on the front tang of the master Razor blade with Case XX and 5 Dots and is pattern stamped on the rear tang of the Spear blade with USA 52005 RAZ SS. Both blades have "walk and talk" snap. The master Razor blade is deep etched reading Tar Heel Cutlery Club 20th Anniversary 1996 1 of 45, this one being serial number 12.
