They are coffee pots, two different sizes. The pattern, stylized chrysanthemums and cracked ice, is the same. One is moss green the other periwinkle blue. There is so much gilding on the pattern so as to make it difficult to see the pattern’s details. There are two different handles, one almost art nouveau while the other is rope with gilding. Unusually for Bates Gildea and Walker, there is no name for the pattern. We know that they are prior to 1881 as that was when they switched to Gildea and Walker and finally to James Gildea, ending in 1888 when it was taken over by Keeling & Co. They are interesting study pieces with a really interesting design. Shipping weight with packing: 5 pounds PLEASE READ THIS ENTRY CAREFULLY THERE ARE NO RETURNS We accept PayPal only, no exceptions.
