This French Limoges Enamel single candlestick from the 19th century is a rare and exquisite piece of Renaissance revival style. This is the period where Limoges Artisans revived complex enamel techniques. Built on a copper core base, this utilizes detailed polychrome against a rich Black enamel backdrop, accentuated with Intricate gold gilding scrollwork and delicate foliate accents. This piece measures just oner 6.5 Inches high and 5.12 Inches across at the base. Made with enamel on copper, this original piece showcases intricate multi-color designs that are characteristic of Limoges craftsmanship.
