2 Wimberly Glass Works Hand Blown 6.5" Red Speckled Vase Art Glass WGW 97 Signed. I've been to Wimberly Glass Works and watched the glass blowers at work as well as perused the showroom. Their work is fine and the pieces are beautiful. Gorgeous hand blown art glass vases in a striking deep red. Set of 2 Wimberly Glass Works Hand Blown Large Mouth Red Speckled Vases or Large Glasses - Stand6 5/8" Tall with 3 1/2" Diameter - WGW 97 and Artist Signature etched on bottom Gorgeous hand blown art glass vases in a striking deep red. Signed on bottom. Handmade in Wimberley Texas. These come from a vintage estate and there were a few others of same design and slightly differing heights so may have been used as vases or very large water glasses. The dimple in the bottom would make them hard to use as candleholders though they would look great with pillar candles if you have a way to stabilize the base. I had a hard time photographing the beauty of the pieces but they are stunning in my opinion. I've been to Wimberly Glass Works and watched the glass blowers at work as well as perused the showroom. Their work is fine and the pieces are beautiful. This is a way for you to take home a sampling of that beauty and use it every day. The red would also be a great highlight for you Christmas, patriotic or Valentine's holiday decor. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks observed.
