Vintage Silky Fabric by the yard for clothing woven stripe 1940's silvery p. The tone is a silvery, steely pale blue. This fabric is very wide to accommodate all kinds of projects! The feel is silky and light! ~ ~ Ideal for clothing, light upholstery, pillows, curtains, bedding etc. Such a lovely find ~ this fabric is an unused wide length of Vintage French clothing fabric dating from circa 1940. ~ This fabric is unused but has some fading along a crease in the center of the bolt in many places, likely from sun exposure. This fabric could be dyed, it is of beautiful quality, but would not be right for someone looking for a fabric with a solid tone, though the fabric to either side of this faded center line is in lovely condition. ~*~ ~ The silky rayon threads were woven into a wonderful shimmering striped pattern on this length! CONDITION : This length is in as found, unwashed condition. This bolt has faded from sun exposure along an old crease in the center (this was stored folded in half lengthwise) and some fading on the side edges. Very occasionally on this bolt there is a small mark that may or may not wash fully. Please email the amount of yards you are looking for if you would like to know how much fading will appear on your length. This bolt is ideal for someone who can cut around the faded sections or perhaps dye the fabric for projects. The fabric itself is in very sturdy condition.
