This knife for auction is a 1997 issue Case Special Factory Order Genuine Mother of Pearl Beast 5 Blade Trapper, 4 1/8" closed, featuring sectioned ocean cultivated Genuine Mother of Pearl handles and the XX stamped nickel silver center bolsters. The Case Special Factory Order Genuine Mother of Pearl 5 Blade Beast Trapper was manufactured exclusively for Shepherd Hills Cutlery in a low quantity in 1997. This Case SFO Mother of Pearl Beast includes the all nickel silver components: the liners, pins, and bolsters are all composed of nickel silver. The front tang of the master Clip blade is stamped with Case XX USA and 3 Dots, dating this as a 1997 manufactured Case knife, while the rear tang of the small Spear blade is pattern stamped with 8554 SS. The other 3 blades are the Razor, Sheepfoot, and Spey. All 5 blades have good "walk and talk" snap.
