Case XX Classic 730109X Whittler Knife 1992 Purple Passion AAA+ COA & Box MIB NR. The master Spear blade is stamped on the front tang with WR Case & Sons Bradford, PA 19 USA 92, while the rear tang of this blade is pattern stamped with Tested XX 730109X. All 3 blades are stamped, and all have good "walk and talk" snap. This knife for auction is a 1992 issue Case Classic Purple Passion Acrylic Three Backspring Whittler, 3 1/4" closed, with Case's Purple Passion Acrylic (not celluloid) handles, carbon steel blades, nickel silver bolsters, and the pinned on Case Oval shield. The master Spear blade is stamped on the front tang with WR Case & Sons Bradford, PA 19 USA 92, while the rear tang of this blade is pattern stamped with Tested XX 730109X. All 3 blades are stamped, and all have good "walk and talk" snap. Only 100 of these knives were produced and it is shown in the Case Classic Book on page 142 - Z.
