They are pull-on pants with an elastic waistband and they have two slant pockets in the front - one on either side. They are lovely pants, but they did not fit and I waited too long before attempting to return them. I have measured the waist, inseam and leg and they are in the photos. Please note: these pants are size XXL - I wear a size 2X and they were tight across the middle. Please consider that when deciding whether or not to purchase.
