The master Clip blade is stamped on the front tang with Case XX USA and 8 dots, dating this a 1982 knife while the front tang of the Skinner blade is pattern stamped with 6265 SAB. This knife for auction is a Case Golden Circle Knife Club Folding Hunter, 5 1/4" closed, featuring Case's jigged Red Bone (cattle bone) handles and Case's Chrome Vanadium Clip and Spey (carbon steel) blades. This knife was made as a Special 1982 Golden Circle Knife Club knife based out of Tennessee. The club ran about 10 years and started in 1978. This knife has the deep gold club etching on the master clip blade. Only 500 of these were produced and this one is serial number 109. The master Clip blade is stamped on the front tang with Case XX USA and 8 dots, dating this a 1982 knife while the front tang of the Skinner blade is pattern stamped with 6265 SAB. Both blades have very good "walk and talk" snap. This Case Trapper is a fine never used or carried at all knife, and has those good old Case Chrome Vanadium blades.
