1909 Raphael Madonna di Foligno Postcard Gold Embossed Art Red Cross Seal Ohio. Item #: 506. AS IS- see pictures. There is a 1/2 inch/1.25 cm tear on the right middle edge. Other wear may include but is not limited to: wear and creasing on the edges and corners, yellowing/stains/foxing, and marks. This is an antique lithograph postcard of Raphael’s "Madonna di Foligno." This card is a beautiful example of early 20th-century "Golden Age" postcard printing, featuring vibrant colors and intricate gold-leaf embossing that gives the image a rich, tactile depth. It features a 1909 American Red Cross Christmas & New Year Seal (Cinderella stamp) affixed to the front, which was the second-ever national Red Cross seal issued, and it is also postmarked the same year, 1909.
