Description

Antique Wedgwood Meat Drainer Adams Blue Creamware c 1883 13" x 10". The drainer is a flat, oval ceramic insert with a series of small perforated holes and a central larger hole to allow fluids to pass through to the platter below. Meat drainers are highly sought after by collectors of blue and white transferware because they were often separated from their matching platters and broken over time. The oval plate measures 13" long, 10" wide, and 1/2" thick. It is in good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks, but crazing lines are present throughout.
