EARLY Vintage TAXCO .980 SILVER Mexico Sterling Ring BEAD & BARREL Motif sz. 6~7. (NOTE: Thatring sizer is flat on one side, so reads differently depending on how this ring is positioned. Note that size 7 on myfinger sizer fits my right pinky easily, but size 6-1/2 is pretty snug, yet this ring fits my finger fine.). Here is an early .980 Silver (more fine than sterling ) ring from Taxco, Mexico. It is simply marked, "TAXCO 980" - no modern registration mark, nor any of the Eagle marks which started in 1948 - suggesting this is even older than that. It has an unusual 3D design with 5 diagonal beads across the front of a half-barrel shape. The ring is approximately size 6-1/2 to 7. (See LAST 2 PICs.)
