Description

New Amsterdam Silver Co. Teapot / Coffee Pot Quadruple Plated #615 Beaded VTG. This item is silver plate hollowware beaded and is a discontinued pattern. This was my grandmother’s so I believe it was a wedding gift from roughly 1925. The Tea Pot/Coffee Pot is tarnished. See photos. This was made by New Amsterdam Silver Co, a division of Knickerbocker Silver of Port Jarvis, NY, which was in business 1904 to 1962, which sets the age of this piece somewhere between 120 and 58 years old. This was my grandmother’s so I believe it was a wedding gift from roughly 1925. The Tea Pot/Coffee Pot is tarnished. I did not polish it because some people like the old patina. However, it looks like there are remnants of a past polish in some of the crevices. This item is silver plate hollowware beaded and is a discontinued pattern. There is a slight misalignment in the beading under the lid of the pot. See photos.
