Description
Hand blown Vintage Cabinet Vase 1960’s/70’s Bright Orange And White Caged Glass. This is a sign of it being hand blown along with the tiny bubbles in the base of the vase. Pre owned, well loved, but has plenty of life left! The top outside edge is not perfectly smooth around. There is also a very small chip on the top of the outside edge. Vintage hand blown cased glass. Made somewhere in the 1960’s to 1970’s era. White glass inside, layered under bright and glossy fire orange glass on the outside. This style is called multicouche. When turned upside down, you can see some of the orange glass is clearer. This is a sign of it being hand blown along with the tiny bubbles in the base of the vase. Features a bulbous body leading up to a narrowed neck and an elegant flared rim. A very sharp looking piece of art glass for sure! Pre owned, well loved, but has plenty of life left! Please see the pictures to see the flaws. The top outside edge is not perfectly smooth around. There is also a very small chip on the top of the outside edge. There are 2 very tiny black marks on the one side of the vase around the indented neck area. I believe these are flea bites. Again, please see the pictures as I have circled the flaws in the pictures. The inside bottom of the case has done small spots which look like they can be washed out. I have priced this case keeping its flaws in consideration. My research leads me to believe this was hand blown in Italy, possibly Murano, but not 100% sure. It is 5 1/8” tall, 3” at its widest point and simply gorgeous! You can turn the chip and marks to the back and proudly display this beauty on any shelf. Message me with any questions. I usually ship next business day using recycled materials. Comes from a smoke and pet free home. Thank you for supporting my small business.
