Ca. 1910 Antique Wood & Sons Woods Ware “Wincanton” Imari Style Blue & Rust Teapot Made England Wood & Sons "Wincanton" is a vintage, blue and rust transferware pattern produced by the Staffordshire firm, commonly dating to the 1910s–1930s. It features a stylized, Chinoiserie-style design often influenced by Willow patterns, frequently marked with the "Woods Ware" stamp and registration number 657618. Terrific condition - no chips, cracks, crazing or color loss, and gilded copper accents add luster to the entire piece. To date Wood & Sons pottery (1865–2005), check for the backstamp: "Wood & Son" is pre-1907, "Wood & Sons" is 1907–1910, and "Wood & Sons Ltd" is post-1910. Look for "England" added after 1891,"Made in England" added after 1910.
