Vintage 1956 advertising wall calendar plaque featuring a detailed embossed cottage and deer landscape scene. Marked “Made in Western Germany.” This piece was produced as a promotional item for The Charm General Store in Charm, Ohio. It features a die-cut decorative border and retains its original January 1956 calendar pad. Material appears to be a pressed composition (papier-mâché style), commonly used for these mid-century wall plaques. Condition: - Calendar pad shows wear and tearing - Some creasing and edge wear consistent with age - Structurally intact and displays well A great piece of vintage advertising and mid-century decor.
