Description
Vintage Enamelware Child Size Chamber Pot White Country Rustic ~1932 “Germany”. (It is stamped Germany on the bottom, but he was born in Texas.). (His dad was a professional photographer, so it’s actually a nice picture!). I’m selling my dad’s chamber pot from the early 1930s. (It is stamped Germany on the bottom, but he was born in Texas.) It’s still in the cute box my grandmother stored it in once he graduated to the outhouse. Yes, I feel guilty selling it, but it’s his fault for leaving me with a thousand other keepsakes from his childhood. Plus he left me a framed photo of baby-him sitting on this exact pot, so I don’t need to keep it to remember it. (His dad was a professional photographer, so it’s actually a nice picture!) This little pot is perfect if your house is decorated in a country cottage, shabby chic, or primitive style. Plus if you pay full price, and you want, I’ll send you a picture of the framed photo to display with the pot. You will always have a story to tell! Details: It is 6” across and 3” high. It is stamped Germany on the bottom along with a manufacturer’s mark. There are some rust spots, and I included photos of them. (Sorry Dad. My house is not big enough to keep all of your stuff!)
