Our Story Jessica, the owner of In Any Event, is a born and raised mid-Missouri native. She?s been in the floral industry for over 25 years, starting at age 15 years old working at a local greenhouse watering plants during the summer for some extra cash. After deciding she loved the trade and wanted to learn as much as possible, she attended Rock Bridge High School and Columbia College taking every Horticulture and Floral class that they had to offer. That?s when she knew without a doubt that this was her life?s calling and passion. In Any Event was born at the end of 2012 on a small design table in Jessica?s basement. What started with a few business cards and referrals from friends and family soon outgrew the basement space. In 2015, Jessica moved operations into a large detached shop, complete with a flower cooler and consultation area to meet with clients. The business operated in this space for 4 years, and again outgrew the shop. In 2019, Jessica had the opportunity to purchase a building in Ashland, which is where In Any Event is now located. She still uses her old shop as a warehouse for rental inventory, but the new location has given her the chance to once again expand. With the larger space, In Any Event was now able to offer a variety of giftware items to help mid-Missouri truly celebrate any event and special occasion. ?I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be where I am today and am so thankful for the work ethic my dad instilled in me, along with a lot of strength and determination to push through all of the times when it seemed that this dream wasn?t possible. My clients are like my family and I go out of my way to make sure that each one is satisfied beyond belief. I have dreamed about my own business for many years and am happy now to know that I will be able to share what I love with you and use my magic to make all of your floral and landscape dreams become a reality.??
