Exceptionally spooky and colorful jacket artwork, better than the US edition (only a flat clock. (published in the US simultaneously by Viking in far larger numbers with mediocre dust jacket artwork. See below.) NOTE: The lettering on the spine is bright bold gold much better than the pic. Fine in Fine Dust Jacket. One of the best copies I've encountered of this book, exceptional example, solid binding, straight corners, very tiny hint of aging to the text-block and minimal toning to the pages which plagues most Stephen King's UK editions published from circa 1980 to 2000. Tiny nick to the lower right-hand corner of the jacket, almost imperceptible, otherwise the jacket is nearly perfect. No other imperfections that I can see outwardly, Just about as nice a copy as you're likely to find. NOTE: "Four Past Midnight" was a kind of send-up or follow-up to his earlier collection of novellas called "Different Seasons".
