Satan Man of the Hour by George Adamski 1st Edn 1937 Devil Mentalism UFOs Book. Complete and tightly bound. A little staining, fading and creasing to cover. There are 3 pages with crossing out of text that are not in the revised 1961 edition. I'm not sure who made the changes (could it be Adamski himself?). Very scarce booklet written by UFO researcher and philosopher "Prof" George Adamski: Satan, Man of the Hour, self-published. This is the original 1937 softcover edition, later reprinted with many changes, in Adamski's 1961 Flying Saucers Farewell book. The book details the rise of Satan in the cosmos, his relegation to Earth by God, and his conversations with earthlings of various types. Small booklet, 24 pages. I can't find any other copies of this edition currently or for sale in the past, or even existing now in the institutional index for Worldcat. Part of an amazing collection of mentalism and related books I'm currently listing. Complete and tightly bound. A little staining, fading and creasing to cover. I'm not sure who made the changes (could it be Adamski himself?) but I compared some of this text and to Adamski's revised version and it is actually quite different in spots. Notably, this original refers to 1937 as a time "filled with talks of strikes, war and want. Every man was deeply concerned with the ever increasing civil and international complications". The reprint uses a 1960 date for the same issues, along with many other changes, particularly in the sections about religion. The original booklet also has a page promoting Adamski's "Royal Order of Tibet" mystical group in Laguna Beach, and a page listing his other available books, all now scarce.
