Occupied Japan Wall Plaques Pair Figural Musicians Victorian Style Bisque. Both have hanging holes/wire on the reverse for wall display. Vintage pair of Andrea figural wall plaques or shallow vanity dishes, marked Made in Occupied Japan on the reverse. The pair features a romantic musician couple in pastel hand-painted clothing with raised leafy shell-form backgrounds and gilt dot accents. One depicts a woman holding a lyre/harp, and the other depicts a gentleman holding a mandolin/lute-style instrument. Both have hanging holes/wire on the reverse for wall display. Approx. size: about 5 inches across each. Condition: Vintage preowned condition with age-related wear, light discoloration/soil in crevices, gilt wear, paint wear, and darkened spots from age/use.
