Vintage Murano Millefiori Italian Art Glass 1950’s-70’s/1000 Flowers/Paperweight. The tiny details of this handmade paperweight are magnificent! The fourth picture shows a cloudy spot on the glass. It is very hard to get a clear picture of the spots. It’s about 6 very small spots that make up a cluster about a. 50” long. Beautiful vintage Murano glass paperweight. Features a complex concentric pattern of 7 white and red ruffle canes in the center, surrounded with 7 turquoise/baby blue larger “mutineers” canes. The individual glass rods are fused together to form the floral canes. Millefiori means “thousand flowers”. The tiny details of this handmade paperweight are magnificent! All of this sits on top a base with glittery aventurine, which is glass made with metallic flecks. Pre owned. Please look at pictures for issues. The underside has some larger scratches from being slid around on a desk or shelf. The scratches are expected with something of this age. I circled an example on the last picture.
