The 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert is one of the most representative live performances of early Led Zeppelin. Although many items have existed so far, and it is a well-known standard live performance included in the official DVD, the official video was incomplete due to editing, and it was not complete including the songs that were not included in the video. Later, a soundboard recording that was longer than the video version was released, but the complete version including all the songs has not been released yet. This newly edited special edition is the longest version of the concert, based on multiple existing sound recordings, and attempts to reproduce the complete concert with almost complete content. From the opening to the final announcements, the video includes uncensored inter-song talks, “How Many More Times,” “Long Tall Sally,” and other songs that were edited out of the video. The new version of “Long Tall Sally” is of a much higher quality than the previous version, which combined the video with the complete recording from the middle part of the song. Unfortunately, “Heartbreaker” (the second half), “Since I've Been Loving You” and “Organ Solo - Thank You” were not included in the new version, but they are included from the Montreux concert on March 7, 1970. The Montreux concert is well known to collectors as a high-quality sound source, but this time a new stereo remastering was used to reproduce “Heartbreaker,” which was missing only from the second half of the concert, with as little discrepancy as possible. The entire concert has been remixed in “new stereo remix,” and the main stereo soundboard has been edited in a unique and up-to-date way compared to the official DVD, past recordings, and compilations of similar projects. The DVD is a “video archive” compilation of the original footage of the Royal Albert Hall concert, from which the official DVD was compiled.
