Description
VERY RARE BOHEMIAN VASELINE CANARY URANIUM DECANTER. Offered is a very rare Bohemian vaseline canary uranium stoppered decanter. There was a break to the stem of the stopper, which was professionally repaired; otherwise, this decanter is in very good condition. The manufacturer is unknown, circa 1800’s. Measurements are approx. 11 1/2” in height to top of stopper and weight is approx. 3 lbs. Decanter exterior consists of four raised medallions which have a flared fan-like deeply cut pattern. Top of the stopper has the same medallion design and directly under the head is a faceted knob design. The break in the stem of the stopper was hidden using shallow horizontal cut stripes. The cut base consists of a six pad or foot design with each pad having a cut fan design on the underside. Blacklight and Geiger counter tested. (Ref. # 25-09-23- 4)
