Experience a True Modern Icon | LOCAL PICKUP ONLY Up for sale is a stunning, 100% authentic Eames Lounge Chair (Model 670) and matching Ottoman (Model 671) manufactured by Herman Miller. This set was produced on April 18, 1996, as verified by the original manufacturer labels on the underside. It features the classic 7-ply walnut veneer shells and supple black leather cushions. Charles Eames famously wanted this chair to have the "warm, receptive look of a well-used first baseman's mitt," and this set has aged into that vision beautifully. Condition Highlights: Authentication: Includes the original silver "Herman Miller" label and the white "California Bureau of Home Furnishings" label dated 4/18/96. Leather: Soft and structurally sound. Note the authentic vintage wear on the armrests, which shows characteristic crazing/cracking. This adds a beautiful, lived-in mid-century character. Wood Shells: Walnut veneers are in excellent condition with rich graining and only minor surface scuffs consistent with age. Hardware: Die-cast aluminum bases are sturdy; the chair swivels smoothly. Includes original floor glides. Pickup Details: Location: This item is available for Local Pickup Only in the Boise Idaho area. Handling: Please bring a vehicle large enough to accommodate both pieces and any necessary blankets or padding for transport. Contact: Please message through eBay after purchase to coordinate a secure pickup time.
