Also, minimal discoloration and water damage on the very top of pgs. 240-263 and considerable water damage on the very top of pages 265-272. Some of this damage created tears and were mended using Japanese rice paper. The paste down endpaper on the front of book had considerable damage but was cleaned up. The text block was resewn; the spine of book was glued and reinforced. The original end papers were used but had to be reinforced using strips of endpapers that are new and sturdy on the hinges of both the front and back of book.
