Vintage Postcard 33587 This Postcard depicts an elevated Panorama View of Poplar Montana Roosevelt County. The image shows a sprawling, early settlement landscape with dirt roads converging near several wooden structures and a prominent building with a storefront. Horse-drawn wagons and individual horses are visible in the foreground near a fenced area, capturing the rugged frontier character of the region which served as a significant trading point and the headquarters for the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. The postcard era Undivided Back dates production of this postcard from 1901-1907. The reverse side is a Mail Card printed in Germany for Chas. E. Morris of Chinook Montana and features a distinctive bucking bronco logo in the stamp box area. The card remains unposted and unaddressed, containing no handwritten message, and includes a printed instruction to put a rubber band around the card when folded.
