Description
Thank you for visiting! This item is in stock and usually ships within 1 business day of your purchase. It will be shipped via ebay Standard Envelope which provides tracking information when it passes through the sorting machines for First Class mail. USPS workers have no way of scanning the barcode on the label. When it marks it as "out for delivery or delivered" it means it has arrived at your local sorting center, not your home address. Depending on your local postal route, it may take several days yet to arrive at your home. Also, consider possible weather delays in the actual time the service takes. Feel free to write if you have any questions. Discover a unique piece of mid-century humor with this vintage postcard, featuring an expressive cartoon dog reacting to a "TOBACCO" sign, accompanied by the thought-provoking question, "DO YOUR CIGARETTES TASTE DIFFERENT LATELY ?". The vibrant illustration, signed by artist COLETTA, showcases a classic cartoon style, capturing a moment of subtle social commentary on tobacco consumption from a bygone era. The postcard's playful yet pointed message makes it a fascinating collectible. This postcard offers a glimpse into vintage advertising and public health messaging through its engaging artwork and a 1-cent "HIRE THE HANDICAPPED ITS GOOD BUSINESS" stamp. The reverse side bears a clear "NEW YORK, N. Y." postmark from July 30th, indicating its journey through the postal system. Sent to Trevorton, PA, the handwritten message adds a personal touch, making this item not just a visual delight but also a tangible piece of history and communication. It's a wonderful addition for collectors of vintage cartoons, advertising ephemera, or unique social history artifacts.
