I bought 23 of these little travel medallions. I haven’t done the research, but I assume these were souvenirs like the flattened Pennie’s you still find at tourist destinations today - but far better. This seller charges a bit more than others but has a price reduction for multiple purchases and free shipping. All shield charms are new old stock and in wonderful shape. My order arrived on time and was packaged well in a plastic zip lock envelope inside a bubble-wrap envelope. The charms were just as described, and I am very happy with this purchase
