From the Forward: ”What you have here is actually three books in one. It’s an anthology of some of the finest short stories in the history of science fiction; its a series of essays intended to constitute a textbook of sorts on the art and craft of writing science fiction; and it’s a collection of personal reminiscences by someone who has spent—or misspent, some might argue—more than forty years of his life reading the stuff and nearly as much time writing it. What it amounts to, then, is a three-level attempt to come to some understanding of what science fiction is and how one goes about creating it, and to convey some of that understanding to others.” BECAUSE MEDIA RATE SHIPPING IS FREE ON THE BOOKS I SELL, COMBINE THIS WITH OTHER ITEMS FROM MY EBAY STORE.
