Description

Linen-era postcard featuring the historic Bell Tower of Mission del Rio Carmelo (Carmel Mission) in Carmel, California. The mission, founded in 1770, was the second of California's 21 Franciscan missions and is the burial site of Father Junipero Serra. This scenic card, published by B.W. White Co. and printed by Curt Teich ("C.T. Art-Colortone"), showcases vibrant floral gardens surrounding the weathered stone architecture of the mission.
