Description

Linen-era postcard featuring the historic Bell Tower of Mission del Rio Carmelo (Carmel Mission) in Carmel, California. The mission, founded in 1770, was the second of California's 21 Franciscan missions and is the burial site of Father Junipero Serra. This scenic card, published by B.W. White Co. and printed by Curt Teich ("C.T. Art-Colortone"), showcases vibrant floral gardens surrounding the weathered stone architecture of the mission.

  1. Easy transaction, good communication, and item was shipped promptly. Postcard arrived well-packaged and in great condition exactly as described and shown in the listing. Good value for this promotional postcard from a Mittenwald luthier who employed more advertising messaging than most of the Geigenbauer in that lovely town.

  2. Extremely pleased with the entire transaction from soup to nuts, where the shipping was lighting quick and the packaging was flawless, along with the fact that the item itself was exactly as described/depicted. 5 Star Seller all the way around.

  3. This was a great addition to a postcard collector like me. He had a clear address, a great message, a postmark and a cancelled 1 cent postage stamp. The card was sent to me quickly and with secure packaging. Thanks for good service.
