Description

Christopher A. Pardell ‘American Horse Takes His Name’ Mix Media Bronze 1991. It’s a limited edition item #199/950. Do my best to keep the dust off it but it’s not as easy as it sounds to do. This C. A. Pardell ‘American Horse Takes His Name’ Mix Media Bronze was manufactured in 1991 and was part of my fathers private collection. It’s a limited edition item #199/950. It is a mixed-media sculpture from the "Legends" series, typically crafted using a blend of lost wax bronze, fine pewter, brass, and copper, often with 24-karat gold vermeil accents and set on a marble base with a title plaque. The sculpture depicts a specific historical figure: Chief American Horse, a prominent leader of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe. Dimensions are approximately 12”L X 7”W X 8”H and weight 19lbs. Do my best to keep the dust off it but it’s not as easy as it sounds to do. Overall it’s a beautiful statue, very good condition, and a fine buy at $850.
