For purchase is a genuine ALICE CAVINESS vintage emerald green rhinestone and aurora borealis (AB) costume bracelet . The bracelet features large, domed green glass cabochons combined with smaller, glittering AB rhinestones set in gold-tone metal. The stones are glass rhinestones, not real emeralds. The setting is a gold-tone base metal. The bracelet also has a chunky, panel link design and includes a safety chain and a push-box clasp, hallmarks of quality vintage construction from the mid-20th century (circa 1950s-1960s). All of these features are constructed in a "figure 8 puddling". History Alice Caviness's company produced high-quality costume jewelry from the 1940s into the 1990s and was known for bold designs, vibrant color combinations, and the use of expensive art glass stones and Austrian crystals, including the aurora borealis (AB) rhinestones and green cabochons as seen on this bracelet.
