Offered here is the one-of-a-kind 2005 Jerry Franklin Commemorative Cue , made for the Derby City Classic raffle. This cue honors Franklin, founder of South West Cues , and features a hand-painted desert landscape butt sleeve with Derby City Classic 2005 inscription and Franklin signature. History & Provenance: This cue was the original raffle piece presented at the 2005 Derby City Classic. On the night of the drawing, it was accidentally dropped, resulting in a small crack near the bottom of the butt. The cue was never circulated or played and comes with a signed letter of provenance verifying its authenticity and event history. Specifications: Weight: approx. 19 oz Length: 58 in Shaft: Maple, ~13 mm tip Joint: 3/8x11 flat-face (South West style) Wrap: Brown Irish linen Butt sleeve: Painted “Derby City Classic 2005” motif Condition: Excellent overall; small crack at base of butt (see description). Byron is a very responsive seller. The McDermott cue arrived timely, actually a few days earlier then expected. It arrived packaged well, and the carrier appeared to have handled it appropriately. Had a bye week in leagues, so haven't had a chance to take it down and lay it on the table yet to check the roll, but looks great otherwise and as stated.
