Available in a plethora of era-inspired colors, the Fender Limited Vintera II Road Worn ’60s Telecaster encapsulates the style, sound, and attitude of Leo’s legendary Tele in its mid-century prime. Fender Road Worn: a finish with finesse and refinement Sweetwater’s fans of Fender relic’d finishes will surely relish the inspired look and perfectly worn-in feel of the Road Worn models. While a touch more subtle than previous iterations with relic’d finishes, Fender’s Limited Vintera II Road Worn guitars and basses feature a nitrocellulose lacquer in a semi-gloss finish, complete with the handmade markings and light checking of an instrument with a story to tell. The era-appropriate maple neck is also slightly worn back, gifting you the playing feel of a mid-century guitar that perfectly rests in your hand — a platform primed for nuanced voicing and soulful expression. Sporting a series of classic Fender colors, like Fiesta Red and Blonde, the Vintera II Road Worn series at once recalls the bold stylings of the ’50s and ’60s while showcasing a settled-in and mature aesthetic. Your Fender Limited Vintera II Road Worn will quickly become the guitar you reach for time and time again, and, just like the perfect pair of blue jeans or your trusted baseball mitt, it will only continue to age with grace for years to come. Vintage-style ’60s single-coil Tele pickups The voice of the Vintera II Road Worn ’60s Telecaster comes from a pair of vintage-style ’60s single-coil Tele pickups at the neck and bridge positions. These single-coils channel the best of the Telecaster’s tone throughout the decade, delivering a bright and twangy presence in the lead position that can really warm up as you switch over to the rhythm position. And with its classic Master Tone and Volume control combo, the Vintera II Road Worn ’60s Telecaster lets you dial in just the balance that’s perfect for you! Era-appropriate appointments What would a ’60s Tele tribute be without the proper feel and hardware appointments?
