Old Mother Hubbard goes to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone, but continues as she repeatedly goes out to get him something different on each page. Written in rhyme & with delightful illustrations, it ends with, The dame made a curtsy, the dog made a bow, the dame said, "Your servant," the dog said, "Bow-wow!" Also, the first front cover has a all white background. Marks: Name (photo 2), no tape or other writing on pages or covers; a very minor discolor is between the lines of text on photo 7 left page. Tears: None Corners: Page are square with tiny, very slight bends to tips + a teeny, tiny top tip fold & a bottom corner had a 2" deep fold (photo 8, left page). Cover are square, both front have color loss + both front & bottom back have a tiny bit of paper cover loss showing the board. Binding: Very tight, foil is complete with considerable color loss & spine edge corner tips have a bit of foil loss. Cover: Front has some color loss to edges & a 1/16" paper cover loss at top edge in groove where book bends.
