Formation conditions: Under the high temperature and pressure in the deep Earth, part of the mantle peridotite melts, and the magma rises and intrusions into the shallow crust or erupts to the surface to form basalt. During the cooling and crystallization process of the magma, peridotite is preserved as an early crystalline mineral. The unique geological conditions of the Damaoping area in Hebei Province provide a favorable environment for the formation of peridotite.
