Make a clean diagonal cut on both the cutting and the rootstock. Join the two cut surfaces tightly and wrap with nylon grafting tape to seal the union. Cover the grafted area with a plastic wrap or humidity dome to retain moisture. Place the grafted plant in bright but indirect light, avoiding direct sun. Mist occasionally and keep the area warm (65–75°F).
