Description

1963 Gordons Distilled London Dry Gin Kept English Cool 194 Years Print Ad Vtg Original Advertisement Page Placement: Exterior A single page, with both sides scanned and described. Suitable for Framing Many older magazine text/images were printed misaligned with the edges. Even within the page, text and images can be misaligned with each other. Trimming all four edges doesn’t always fix the issue, and leaves less room to mat. As of 3/20/2024 I trim only the single edge that was attached to the spine, at 90º to the top edge, and will leave the other edges untouched. Except for the single trimmed edge, you’re seeing the full page exactly as it was created. As a result, sometimes the text and in-page images may look tilted; this leaves more space for matting later. You can see the entire page, edges and all, resting on a black border to help you judge overall condition. No virtual cropping to make it look perfect, no hidden surprises when it arrives. Ad Description/Company Name : Side 1 : Gordon’s Distilled London Dry Gin No wonder the English have kept cool for 194 years! Side 2 : No Ad on Side 2. (Magazine front cover) Publication Date: 1963 July 01 Publication Name: Sports Illustrated Magazine Size: Approx 11 ¼” x 8 ¼” Condition : Used. These are original pages from original magazines. They are very old, and usually stored in less-than-perfect environments. F oxing, fading, discoloration are common and present to some degree. Also corner folds, edge damage, creases, ripples, scuffs, smudges and other imperfections are normal. Pages may show pressure marks from production or years of storage. Images are scanned on black background, NOT matted or framed. Many older magazines printed misaligned with their edges. I only trim the spine edge , leaving the other three sides untouched. When you mat the page, you can align as desired. The images are the EXACT SAME PAGE BEING SOLD AS IS. PLEASE EXAMINE CLOSELY AND MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT. NOTES : Be aware exterior pages have more wear; most visible on outer side image. If there’s anything NOT Included in the typical conditions listed above, and that cannot be seen in the images, I’ll add it here. Your satisfaction guaranteed. 2. Quick packing time and shipment. Package was reinforced well and item arrived as described. Great value for price, although shipping cost almost as much as item. Only complaint was that I’d like the dimensions in item description so I could order frame with the print. I highly recommend this seller!

  3. Excellent! Very conscientious packing with cardboard reinforcement to get safely shipped through the mail. The Rackham print is just as described and photographed. Nicely stored within plastic envelope. Thank you.
