About This Items An antique mechanical pocket watch made in France around the end of the 19th century The dial decorated with gold and other materials is very beautiful - there appear to be small scratches around the edges around 10 and 3 o'clock, but these are tiny screws that hold the dial in place underneath. The mechanism is a manual winding dowel (you wind the crown by hand and press the small button on the right side of the crown with your fingernail to set the time) The case is probably made of silver (it is engraved but cannot be read) The sides are covered with gold, making it a two-tone gold and silver watch that is very gorgeous. It closes with a snap. Overall, it is in good condition with no major problems. It was serviced by a Japanese watchmaker in 2024, and it is quite accurate and works well.
