Description

Finely struck 1 1/2" bronze finish/enamel challenge coin for the US Army 3rd SFG Special Forces Group . "The 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) – abbreviated 3rd SFG(A) and often simply called 3rd Group – is an active duty United States Army Special Forces (SF) group which was active in the Vietnam Era (1963–69), deactivated, and then reactivated in 1990. 3rd Group is designed to deploy and execute nine doctrinal missions: unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, direct action, counter-insurgency, special reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, information operations, counterproliferation of weapon of mass destruction, and security force assistance. The 3rd SFG(A) was primarily responsible for operations within the AFRICOM area of responsibility, as part of the Special Operations Command, Africa (SOCAFRICA). Its primary area of operations (AO) is now Africa as part of a 2015 SOCOM directive[3] but 3rd Group has also been involved in the Caribbean and the Greater Middle East. The 3rd SFG(A) has seen extensive action in the War on Terror and its members have distinguished themselves on the battlefield in Afghanistan." - Wikipedia

  1. The book was shipped surprisingly quick, and clearly packaged with care so as not to allow any damage en route. It was in excellent condition, even better than I assumed by the description. And the price was more than fair, especially considering I've had such a hard time finding it elsewhere. I'm so thrilled to be able to read this again. This bizarre book was so important to me as a child. I really can't emphasize enough how happy I am to have my own copy, and one in such great condition.

  2. AWESOME PURCHASE! This vintage regimental badge was even better than described and it was offered for a very fair price. The item was carefully packaged and shipped promptly. IN FACT, its shipping time--from the UK--was perhaps the fastest I've experienced! From a price-versus-value standpoint, this purchase was ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE. Thank you, Seller, for a smooth--and frankly SUPERLATIVE--purchase!

  3. Item as described. Will not hesitate to purchase again from this seller. (Seller shipped product in a reasonable time frame, USPS managed to route the package around the United States a couple of times so it was crazy slow - had nothing to do with the seller. Seller packaged the item well and addressed the package correctly. 100% USPS screw-up.)
