Left to right: Craig Wasson, Brooke Adams and David Ogden Stiers star in "The Innocents Abroad," a Great Performances encore presentation based on the book by Mark Twain and airing Monday over PBS. Wasson portrays Twain in this two-hour, exuberant adventure set and filmed in Europe. It is co-produced by Nebraska ETV Network and The Great Amwell Company in association with WNET/Thirteen, New York under the direction of Luciano Salce; William Perry and Jane Iredale are the producers. Executive producer William Perry also composed and conducted the original score. Funding is made possible by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Exxon, the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations and the William and Mary Greve Foundation. Great Performances is presented by the alliance of public television stations: WNET/Thirteen, New York; KERA, Dallas-Ft.
