Description

"They Fell That Way" is a photo transfer zinc plate etching printed on handmade paper with natural and man made inclusions. Plate size is 6" x 9", sheet size is approximately 10" 14", ink color is sepia. Print is signed in pencil. The artist is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has taught printmaking at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for over 25 years. He has also taught at Seton Hill University, Carnegie Mellon University pre-college program, Carnegie Museum of art and had given lectures and demonstrations at many regional schools, museums, and art groups. He has exhibited at many galleries and museums throught Pennsylvania and nationally including the prestigious Print Center in Philadelphia, International Print Center New York, Washington Printmakers Gallery, Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, Maryland Institute of Art, Dairy Barn Art Center, Hoyt Institute of Art, Art Association of Harrisburg, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Westmoreland Museum of American Art and others.
