FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....! Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a family with ties to Italy. Antique master salt made of a natural seashell that was encapsulated in a bezel of silver and finished with an attached fish tail detail. Measuring 4 inches in length overall, the silver is stamped 800 for purity. No loose elements, breaks in the shell or defects detected. Black with tarnish when found, a few stubborn spots remain on the silver after a light hand polishing. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a refence for proportion. PLEAES NOTE...... WE HAVE OTHER IDENTICAL SALTS, FROM THE SAME ESTATE, LISTED SEPERATELY. SINCE THE SHELLS ARE NATURAL, THERE IS A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE IN THEIR CONFORMATION. THE SALT IN THE PHOTO IS THE EXACT ONE YOU WILL RECEIVE. MUCH OBLIGED
