Hand Painted Wooden Kitchen Utensil Holder Alpbach Blue Birds Signed Vintage
$ 21.12
Description
This is a beautiful vintage hand made and hand painted wooden utensil holder. It is suited for either mounting on a wall or sitting on your counter. This holder measures approximately 13.5 inches tall by 3 7/8 inches long and is approximately 3 5/8 inches wide. It could also be used as an artificial flower vase, to hold long fireplace type matches, etc. It is signed by the artist, June Petrillo on both the back and the front. Taped to the back is a note from the artist advising the owner that is a wooden spoon holder done in the Alpbach (Austrian) style of design and painting. The note also provides cleaning and care instructions. The design includes flowers, birds, hearts and leaves. I would place this piece from the 1970's. Utensil holder is in good vintage pre-owned condition. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or repair to any of the wood pieces. Painted finish still looks great.
