Made to the exact 1965 standards, when the design was first changed to the black square with white text, still in use today. Generally speaking, farm roads are east of Austin, and ranch roads are west. This one is located in Fort Bend and Austin counties. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets.
